Description
The Ares™ Cable Attachment is a fully integrated, functional trainer and lat pull down/low row attachment that affixes to your existing PR-4000 or PR-5000 power rack. This saves major space, by bringing a ton more versatility and cable exercises inside the rack, while preserving nearly all the original functionality. The Ares™ features dual weight stacks of 260 lbs each (with an option to upgrade to 310 lbs per stack) that you can use for unilateral exercises. Or connect both stacks together for bilateral movements that demand heavier weight, like lat pull-downs. The patent-pending Ares™ features trolleys that are designed with a smooth plastic liner that’s easy to adjust up and down with one hand.
The front pulleys swivel 180 degrees for versatile movements and work outside the rack. Hot-rolled steel plates with a machined finish assure consistent and durable weights that the magnetized pin slides into smoothly. A metallic black finished shroud, with a recessed stainless steel REP logo, features laser cut windows to see the weights moving. The 2:1 ratio means 100lbs feels like 50lbs, ideal for functional training.

If you purchase a 4-Post 80″ Ares™ please be aware of the following: The Logo Plate Crossmember restricts trolley height, affecting usable space for J-Cup placement. We would advise individuals use caution while squatting with the trolleys above the bar when unracking and reracking the barbell.*

Great equipment. VERY high quality and robust. Feels overengineered which is great. Only downside is the low row cable origination points are set on the outsides of your feet, which causes it to feel like the bar is “walking” on the left & right sides during use. That was a known issue before I purchased this equipment so I’m still very satisfied with everything! It was all packaged extremely well and arrived in perfect condition, free of charge. My delivery driver with RL Carriers extremely nice as well. Overall- great experience. Would recommend!

Love the Ares. I ordered the Ares with a 16″ 6 post. Unpacking it isn’t fun but that is because of the care taken in wrapping each piece in bubble wrap and tape. Each piece looked great. Assembly was not difficult – it takes a little time but the following the assembly video is easy. Then entire setup is great! Allows so many exercises with rack and functional trainer.
Pulldows are also good with plenty of weight. Only negative is the low row (if you are using the bar – feet get in way with the pullies on the sides – alternatively no issues if you use the handles on each side). This is the best all in one setup and would highly recommend.

Delivery time was super quick. Packaging was great. The Ares is a great piece of equipment and was the perfect addition to my small home gym. The versatility allows for endless exercises. 93” fits perfectly in my room with 96” ceilings.
