I have had the G10 for a week now and I am thoroughly impressed. You really can target every single muscle group with this machine. I also purchased the upgrade kit and I am very glad I did. The upgrade kit really helps take this machine to the next level.
If you decide to build this yourself, do yourself a favor and get help. My toxic trait is that as an engineer, I think I can build anything alone. I did manage to build it alone, but it took me two days to get it done

Balance life pulse have been fantastic to buy through! The staff respond really fast to enquiries, the shipping is lightning quick and the Force G10 is a fantastic piece of equipment for the limited amount of space we could use. We did find it really difficult to assemble, but eventually got there (if you have limited ceiling height, drop the counter weights into the stands early or you’ll have no room to do it later on).

I visited the website almost daily for a month before I finally ordered.
Shipping was quick. I chose to put it together on my own which wasn’t horrible.
As far as the equipment, I’m in love with it. I have had a make shift home gym for the past 7 yrs. It is nice to not have to do alternative exercises anymore to programs I am using as there isn’t much you can’t do with this.
Having a TV while maybe not a necessity has thrown in just a little added motivation during my workouts.

Full transparency, this is now my 4th Smith Machine over my lifetime; Im 50. Last year (2023) I was in an accident that almost took my life. I was hit head-on at 160 mph by a man that was high. Had it not been for a Good Samaritan, pulling me from the truck, I would have been burned alive. I broke both legs, both feet, both ankles, full compound fracture of my left tibia and fibula, broken femur, broken pelvis in 3 places, broke my back and all my ribs. I started to walk again just one year ago. This Smith Machine (The G10) allows me to do all of my physical therapy movements for my legs using the cable system. I’m able to do leg presses, as well as squats. I can also go as heavy as I need to with bench press and perform any back exercise to continue to stabilize my back and core. I love this machine. Its saving my life! My legs haven’t begun to feel this normal and strong in over a year. I was an avid runner before the accident. My running days are over but my lifting days are just beginning

I assembled it on my own but I recommend having a second person. Avoid using supplied wrench, buy gear wrench 17mm and 19 mm from bunnings. Due to limited roof space, I was unable to put the counterweight at step 8, so now I am using the smith machine without the counterweight(no big deal for me). If you have a standard ceiling then try to put counterweight first(maybe in step 3 instead of step 8).
PROS:
1) Sturdy frame – great product quality
2) Plenty of plate holders
3) Good staff and great service
4) Feels nice and smooth with weight (not as smooth as the one that comes with weight buy silicon spray to reduce friction)
5) Plenty of attachments
6) Great price after discount.
CONS:
1) No option to buy storage racks separately. you have to pay almost $1000 to buy the entire upgrade kit.
2) curl bar attachments are of poor quality (they do not revolve like the one at the gym) will buy them separately.
3) NO warning about counterweight before assembly. Make sure to look at step 8 before start putting it together.
