Description
The FT-5000 2.0 Functional Trainer brings commercial-grade, cable strength training to your home gym. This full, versatile trainer features 21 cable positions with dual weight stacks that top out at 224 lbs each, for a total of 448 lbs at a 2:1 ratio (moving 100 lbs feels like 50 lbs). The handles can go higher and lower than the original FT-5000 design to maximize your range of motion. The trolley is slimmer and lighter than ever before — with no rollers, reduced material, pre-lubricated uprights, and a repositioned handle — allowing for quick and easy adjustments. The cable column markings are laser-etched and numbered on the inside of the uprights, so itβs easy to line up the handles.
The FT-5000 2.0 is packed with high-end features, like multiple grips for pull-ups and a magnetic-tipped pin to lock weight in place, plus an additional pin to secure the trolley. The sturdy, 11-gauge frame is double-coated with a chip-resistant, electrostatic powder coating and topped with a matte black finish. The cables are smooth, with aluminum pulleys instead of plastic. An added welded ring makes it easy to attach and remove a carabiner; swap a larger carabiner for different attachments; and use the end piece as an additional grip option. The FT-5000 2.0 comes with two durable, polymer D-handles, storage pegs for the attachments, four additional 2.75 lb incremental weights so you can make smaller weight jumps, and a mountable diagram demonstrating 12 movements you can do on the machine.

The FT-5000 2.0 is a great machine. It is an amazing value. This machine is rock solid and definitely commercial grade. Shipping was quick, packaged well. It’s big, required a double pallet for the crate. I found the installation to be straight forward, I had my wife help for 30 seconds, otherwise put it together solo, could have gotten by if I didn’t have her available. I’ve only had it a few weeks, but I absolutely love it!
